The Story Behind The Site

She's Worth It

A personal note about why this platform was built, and who it is for.

Heather and Tim

I have watched my wife Heather do something I'm not sure I could do.

Every single day, she wakes up and pours herself into a blended family of nine kids - 8 boys and 1 girl - with a kind of strength and grace that still stops me in my tracks. There is no manual for what she does. No roadmap. Just love, patience, and an almost stubborn refusal to let life's chaos win. Because of her, our home is genuinely a place of peace - a refuge when the rest of the world feels loud and heavy. She built that. She is that.

I wanted to find a way to tell her.

Not with flowers that would fade or a gift card she'd feel guilty spending. I wanted something that would reach the part of her that doesn't always believe what she means to us. So last Christmas, I built her a website — heather.youarethebest.mom. I loaded it with photos and filled it with quotes from the kids - real words, from their hearts, about who she is to them. I put a QR code in a little wooden box and handed it to her on Christmas morning.

Watching her read those words from our children - I'll never forget it.

That moment is why this site exists.

A few people saw what I had built and said, you should let others do this. So I did. I added features I wished I'd had - ways for kids to submit their own quotes and photos, previews so you can get it just right before the reveal, and more. Some of those features cost money to run, so I do charge for them - but I've kept prices as low as I possibly can, and there will always be a free version. Always.

This isn't a corporation. It's just a husband who wanted his wife to feel seen - and a belief that there are moms, grandmothers, sisters, and aunts in your life who deserve the same thing.

If someone comes to mind right now, go build something for her.

She's worth it.
